From team: “Wiona “Maserati” Tan is the epitome of spirit of the game. On UCLA BLU, Wiona’s constant positivity and spirit has made the team into what it is today. On the field, Wiona is the first player down on the pull, the toughest mark, a reliable under cutter, and the first to high-five her teammates after a point, no matter the outcome. And she does it all with a giant smile on her face. Her energy on and off the field brings spirits up and encourages the entire team to push through long points and hard games. Wiona has been our spirit captain for the past two years because of her dedication to the spirit of the game and the fun that we all have while playing ultimate.
