Biography
Sydney began playing at age 11 with the Hometown Ultimate program in Maplewood, New Jersey, the birthplace of the ultimate frisbee. In her high school career, she led Columbia High School’s Sparkle Motion to its first state championship title since 2010. Her ultimate capabilities earned her a spot on Team USA’s U20 Women’s roster, where they secured gold at the 2022 WFDF World U-20 Championships.
At the collegiate level, Sydney has been a pivotal part of Hydra’s success. Her leadership and skills have contributed significantly to multiple regional appearances and a national championship appearance in 2023. As a captain, she sets the standard for excellence both on and off the field, consistently driving the team forward through her work ethic and competitive focus. She is celebrated by Hydra as one of the hardest-working and dedicated players in the program, and she never fails to uplift all those around her.
