Biography
From team: “Sophia started playing ultimate in West Seattle when she was in the 8th grade. She entered the club scene in 2019 with Seattle Mixtape and played the 2022 and 2023 season with Seattle Riot. She has competed at every level, including Club Worlds and was on the U-20 USA Women’s National team in 2020.
Sophia has played Element from 2021-2024, making a Nationals finals appearance in 2021. She is currently captaining and leads her team with confidence and grit. Sophia started on Element as a strong rookie cutter and has grown into a veteran hybrid. Easily spotted by her seemingly effortless unders followed up by a shot to the endzone, she has been a rock on Element’s O-line for years. Element is proud to have her as our Callahan nominee.”
