Biography
Sara Bauman has been an integral member of the Northeastern Valkyries since 2022. In her first year on the team (and first year ever playing ultimate), she competed at College Nationals, where the Valks placed 9th in the country. Over the past 4 years her athleticism in the handler space, throwing consistency, and ability to read the disc downfield has made her a critical part of the Valks’ defensive line. Sara has also been a leader off the field, serving as team president for the 2024–2025 and 2025–2026 seasons. As a teammate, she is a caring goofball who truly loves the sport and the community that comes with it.
Beyond the Valkyries, Sara has had an impressive club career with Boston Siege, captaining the team during the 2025 season when they earned a bid to the Select Flight Invite.
