Biography
UCLA BLU is honored to nominate Sabrina “Jedi” Belkin for the Callahan Award. A two-time captain over her four years with BLU, Sabrina is consistently one of the most impactful players on the field. Beyond her incredible athleticism, Sabrina can shape the field of play from her exceptional break throws, perfect hucks, and game saving defensive plays. She has competed at the highest levels of ultimate across the club and professional divisions including with SoCal Flipside, Los Angeles Astra, and the USA U-20 National Team.
More than anything, Sabrina is defined by her passion for ultimate. Having played for most of her life, she approaches the sport with a level of commitment evident in how she trains, competes, and embodies the Spirit of the Game. Even through injuries, she remained a steady leader for BLU, staying engaged with the team, and returned to play with an even stronger presence and fervor.
Sabrina’s impact also extends beyond her performance on the field. Her work ethic and intensity set a standard for BLU, helping shape us as a competitive team. Sabrina embodies the spirit of the Callahan Award through her excellence on and off the field and dedication to the sport of ultimate.
