From the hardwood to the field, Mia made the leap from basketball to ultimate thanks to her older brother and never looked back. Her athleticism shines through in every cut, with lightning-quick speed, sharp agility, and the defensive instincts of a seasoned competitor. As a captain of Athena this past season, she led by example: steady with the disc, relentless on defense, and always the spark when energy was needed. Her coach puts it best: “She’s got a fire few can match. If you need to get hype, get into a game time cheer with her.” When she’s not hard denying an up-line cut, you’ll find her with her two cats, Fish and Taro, doomscrolling, pouring a drink, and having a good time.
