Biography

Liv Steinberg started her ultimate career at Lower Merion High School before emerging in the college ultimate scene with Penn State Crisis in 2021. After her rookie year, Liv was rostered on Philadelphia AMP for her debut club season, where she has continued to play and further develop her game. Even after playing multiple points in a row, Liv’s speed and footwork is still a challenge for any matchup on both ends of the field. At an intimidating height of 5’2”, Liv has the unexpected ability to sky opponents and casually murk them. She utilizes her invaluable knowledge of the sport to set the example for her teammates, establishing her unforgettable legacy on Crisis.
As a captain of Crisis for 2 years, Liv has put countless hours into this role. From editing film and building the culture, to planning practices and taking on coaching responsibilities, her influence speaks for itself. Liv has a distinct way of expressing her love for the game and sharing it with others. Her extensive contributions have elevated the PSU Womxn’s Ultimate program and her leadership has left a permanent mark on those around her. The authentic impact of Liv’s spirit truly demonstrates what it means to go above and beyond as a player, teammate, and friend. It is our absolute honor to nominate Liv Steinberg for Callahan 2025.
