Biography
Lili “Vator” Hobday has been shaping teams and communities long before the awards caught up to her. She has spent four years on University of Notre Dame’s Echo, serving as captain for the past two. Under her leadership, our previously unranked team rose to a consistent top 25 ranking, earned three Conference championship titles, and finished as runner-up at Great Lakes Regionals for three consecutive years. Additionally, she has played professionally in the PUL with Indy Red for two years, advancing her game with some of the top talent in the region.
She has extensive club experience, starting with two years on U-20 YCC MN Superior Mixed, then joining Minnesota Star Power and Minnesota Pop. Most recently, she won a U.S. Mixed Club Championship with Ann Arbor Hybrid, earning the title of 2026 Mixed Breakout Player of the Year. She has also returned to her MN Superior roots, as head coach, leading the team to a second-place finish at 2024 YCC U-20 Mixed Nationals.
As a 4-time All-Region recipient and Player of the Year watch-list player, Lili brings excellence and passion to both the sport of frisbee and to her teammates everywhere as she often reminds us that “it’s cool to care.”
