Lili Wilson

Biography

MIT sMITe is honored to nominate Lili “Wall-E” Wilson for the Callahan Award.

Wall-E’s ultimate journey began in the NYC youth scene and eventually led to a successful young club career with BKBC (2022), Boston Siege (2023), and New York BENT (2024). Yet, nowhere has Wall-E shined brighter than with sMITe, where she’s been an irreplaceable teammate and leader since she joined in the fall of 2021. On the field, Wall-E commands the offensive flow and defensive airspace. She wields an incredible throwing arsenal, from full-field pulls to cheeky over-the-top lefties, and is one of the most electric players in the game.

Wall-E captained sMITe during her junior and senior years and transformed the program with unmatched dedication. Her fiery hype speeches and silly metaphors have shaped the way we approach ultimate — she taught us to lead with joy in both the biggest games and the small, day-to-day moments. She has inspired a team culture of putting in work outside of practice and pushing teammates to do the same. Above all, she has helped create a family in which lifting each other up is of utmost importance. Because of her leadership, sMITe improved from a #97 ranking and an 11th-place finish at regionals in 2023 to #37 and 4th in 2025. Wall-E has forever changed sMITe’s identity, leaving a legacy built on trust, love, and a deep passion for ultimate. sMITe is infinitely stronger for having Wall-E, and we’re so proud to nominate her for the Callahan Award.
