From team: “Kennedy has been playing ultimate in New England since 2015, where she played with Maine Riptide for the next four years, with one U17 second place finish and one U20 co-championship. In 2018, she started playing for Boston Siege and played for both teams in 2019. Kennedy has played for Ruckus since her freshman year in 2019 and represented Team USA at the U24 World Championships in 2023. Since the first summer she played ultimate, Kennedy has not only wanted to be the be the best player she can be but has wanted the same for her teammates. She inspires everyone to be the best versions of themselves on and off the field and brings a winning mindset to every situation.
Kennedy was the Club Breakout Player of the Year in 2019, All-American College Second Team in 2022, All-American College First Team in 2023, Player of the Year 2nd Runner-Up in 2023, and the Offensive Player of the Year Runner-Up in 2023. While these accolades are enough to impress anyone, Kennedy McCarthy’s playing and presence will make your jaw drop more than anything.”
