Biography
Katya’s ultimate career began in high school as she played all four years. During that time, she played on BUDA at YCC’s U17 and U20. Throughout college, Katya played on the University of Pittsburgh’s Danger for four years, serving as captain for two years. During her college career, she has also played on club teams such as Pittsburgh Parcha and Boston Siege. This summer, Katya will be playing with the U24 US Mixed team in Spain. The leadership and talent she has demonstrated as a player, captain, and teammate have fueled the success of Danger. Her extraordinary plays and humility distinguish her from anyone on the field, making her a deserving nominee for the Callahan award. She puts complete trust in her teammates while standing as a pivotal leader on Danger that has even more trust in her.
