Biography
Hyunah began her ultimate journey on the Lexington High School Fooligals in 2017, quickly making her mark as a standout leader and competitor. She captained the team in 2020 and 2021 and was recognized as a youth all-star in 2021. At UConn, Hyunah joined the women’s ultimate team as a freshman and went on to captain during her sophomore and junior seasons. She was named a Metro East Honorable Mention in 2023. A stoic presence under pressure and a visionary player, Hyunah fills a hybrid role- seamlessly switching between handler and cutter as needed. She’s known for her chilly demeanor with the disc, her powerful playmaking, and precise throws. As a leader, she’s determined, focused, and leads by example, motivating this team to play at levels that they’ve never pushed themselves to before. Hyunah has also competed at the club level with Vice (2022, 2023) and League of Shadows (2024), continuing to sharpen her game year-round.
