From team: “Graham Cunningham joined Fever in 2020, but she brought with her enormous amounts of experience on the field. She is a product of the Washington D.C. youth ultimate scene, and she proved through her athletic and strategic prowess that she was bringing top-tier ultimate to Ohio State. While being on Fever, she has shined as a star center handler while never letting her opponents forget that she is a huge threat when she is down field. She played for the Premier Ultimate League’s Columbus Pride in 2022 and 2023 and is currently rostered with her home team D.C. Shadow. Her skillset as a dynamic handler and as a quick defender grounded her in these teams. In club, she had played for extremely talented and experienced teams such as Rival in 2022 and Lawless and Cleveland Crocs in 2023 with the incredible achievement of making it to club nationals. This year she’ll be making her premier on Scandal for the 2024 club season. Her strongest performances though have been her dedication to her team and to building Fever. She has been responsible for bringing many new faces to the team. She is an exemplary player and it is with great honor that Fever nominates her for the Callahan Award.”
