Biography

Fiona “Fijo” Harris started playing ultimate during her freshman year of high school for the Denver East Angels. She played all 4 years and captained the team her junior and senior year. Her team won the Colorado mixed youth state championship twice, and at state she won the overall spirit award. In college, Fijo joined the Dirty Ladies her sophomore year. As a spirited and skilled leader on the team, she was nominated and ran for captain as a junior. Under her captainship, the Dirty Ladies performed at their all-time best, finishing second at 2024 Atlantic Coast Regionals behind UNC. Fijo then began her club career, and was elected captain of Dissent, a DC area women’s matching team. During the 2025 college season, Fijo was spirit captain for the Dirty Ladies. Fijo plays with joy. Her favorite part of ultimate is spirit of the game. She would not be an ultimate player without it.
