Dylan Mullaney

Biography

Dylan “Ravine” Mullaney picked up ultimate her sophomore year of college – a mere four years ago – and rapidly acquired the skills (and swag) of an incredible player. Now serving as a D-Co captain while pursuing her Master’s in Glycobiology and Women’s Health, Dylan brings both intensity and intention to everything she does.

A true defensive force, Dylan is both the backbone and the heart of our D-line. Her motor is unmatched – she plays every point with relentless energy, never taking a moment off. Known for her incredible speed and field awareness, she can shut down deep threats one second and seemingly teleport the next to track down a full-field huck. Her presence changes games.

But Dylan’s impact goes far beyond her athleticism. She prides herself on helping create a supportive environment and always goes the extra mile to make sure everyone feels seen. Her commitment to the team and love for her teammates is unmatched, and she spreads joy at every turn.

Outside of ultimate, Dylan is the coolest outdoor adventure guide of all time, spending her summers leading backpacking, kayaking, and climbing expeditions. Whether she’s in the backcountry or on the field, she inspires those around her to push themselves and embrace the journey. And yes, she also has plans to one day steal the moon.

UC San Diego Dragon Coalition is beyond honored to present Dylan as our 2026 Callahan award nominee.
