Biography

First picking up the sport of ultimate during her freshman year of college, Chaily quickly emerged as a force both on and off the field. The only true rookie to make Venus’ A team in 2021-22, she immediately proved her grit, athleticism, and leadership potential. Now a two-year captain, Chaily has led Venus to back-to-back Nationals appearances, marking the program’s first consecutive trips in 30 years.
On the field, Chaily is relentless. Known for full-extension layout grabs that show her soccer goalie roots, skies over entire groups of defenders, and shut-down person defense, she earned a 2024 Ohio Valley All-Region Honorable Mention and was a 2025 Key Addition to the PUL’s Philadelphia Surge. She has spent her summers playing with Philadelphia women’s club teams Zephyr and Flight, constantly seeking opportunities to grow and push herself at the highest level.
But what sets Chaily apart isn’t just her play: it’s her heart. She’s the one cheering the loudest from the sideline, the first to pick you up after a tough point, and the presence who makes her teammates – especially the rookies – feel seen and valued. Her commitment as captain to building an inclusive, fun, and competitive team culture will serve Venus well for years to come.
Chaily’s ultimate career on and off the field has been incredible, but it’s no surprise to those who know her. She leads the team with love and leaves everything on the field. Venus is better because of her.
