Biography
The California Pie Queens are excited and proud to nominate Caledonia “Cap” Krieger for the 2026 Callahan Award. Though she grew up playing basketball, fencing, and many other sports, Cap found ultimate in her freshman year of college and immediately became a key contributor on offense and defense. Over the past four years, her role has only developed as she has become a star cutter who dominates a point and creates scores for our team. Cap is a playmaker on defense, generating more turns than any other player on the team this season with her massive skies and speedy run-through blocks. As captain the past two years, she has selflessly led the team by taking on endless tasks, supporting her teammates through difficulties, and battling the club sports office. We are incredibly grateful for all of Cap’s spirited play, hard work, and friendship these past four years.
