Biography
Brooke grew up in Salinas, CA and spends the majority of her free time in the Bay Area. She is currently one of SLO Motion’s captains, leading them on a historic run for their 2024-2025 season! She started playing ultimate halfway through her sophomore year at Cal Poly. Two and half years later, she’s become an incredibly impactful player for Motion. Her first summer playing ultimate she played for the women’s team, Void Cat Rewind (Sunnyvale, CA). This most recent summer, she was a defensive cutter for the elite Mixed team, San Francisco Polar Bears. Brooke then earned a tryout for Team USA, U24 this last fall. As a captain, Brooke has played an integral part in fostering a competitive team and culture. She embodies a leadership that’s empowering, inspiring, and approachable. On the field, she has been a key piece to SLO’s offense. A real do-it-all-player, having strong throwing skills while consistently leading in goals across the season.
