Biography
From team: “Betsy “Goat” Siegal has been playing ultimate for 12 years, starting in her hometown of Seattle, where she played for Seven Hills and Garfield High School. She joined Pie Queens in her freshman year at Cal and dutifully attended zoom practices for her first season. Betsy has been an integral part of Pie Queens during her time at Cal, both as captain throughout the 2022-2023 school year and as an on-field leader and off-field role model. Betsy is the player who organizes handler pods and shows up to practice early to get extra touches. She continuously leaves her teammates in awe with her ability to break any mark and throw to any spot on the field. She pushes her teammates to excel by always giving 100% effort. Outside of PQ, Betsy has also played for FAB and Classy. She is committed to the growth of youth ultimate and has coached at middle schools and high schools in Seattle, as well as at Berkeley High.”
