Alli Reilly

Biography

Alli found frisbee in the midst of the pandemic during her second semester here at Carolina. When she first joined Pleiades, they were playing with masks and without defense. Despite these humble beginnings, she picked up the sport quickly and became an important contributor to each of the National Championships that Pleiades would go on to win over the next four seasons. Alli also served as a captain for the 2023 championship season and again in her final year for this 2026 season. As a captain, Alli has led through her consistent and dependable play, her commitment to being a listening ear to anyone who needs one, and her palpable love for the team.

Beyond the college scene, Alli turned her summers and semester abroad into more playing opportunities and even won Australia’s UniSport Nationals and New Zealand’s Mixed Ultimate Championships with teams she joined there (and earned the second place female MVP at New Zealand Mixed Nationals). She also helped to grow burgeoning frisbee communities in Athens, Greece and Amman, Jordan. Back in the States, Alli has also played on Raleigh Radiance (winning a PUL title with them in 2023) and Raleigh Phoenix (serving as one of their Spirit Captains for the 2025 season).

In just five years of playing ultimate, Alli has blossomed into an incredible competitor, a steady offensive presence, and one of the best leaders Pleiades has ever had. We are overjoyed to celebrate her as our 2026 Callahan nominee.
