Tyler Husband

Biography

Tyler Husband arrived at Virginia Night Train as a true rookie, having barely touched a frisbee before college. Drawing on his baseball and track background — and an unmatched level of drive — he quickly developed into a reliable and impactful player. By the end of his second year, Tyler had built a dangerous throwing arsenal, highlighted by his monster flick huck. His rapid growth earned him tryouts with high-level club teams, where he secured a roster spot with Virginia Vault. By his third year, Tyler was leading Night Train to wins over ranked opponents and a top 30 national ranking. He was awarded team MVP twice and was recognized as an All-Region player.
This year, Tyler stepped into the roles of captain and treasurer. He took full ownership of navigating UVA’s bureaucracy to secure funding, helping the program secure much needed finances. As a result, Night Train has been able to attend elite tournaments like Florida Warm Up and Northwest Challenge. As captain, Tyler leads by example. He’s the first to get to the field and the last to leave, and his integrity, trustworthiness and resilience set the standard for the entire team.
Following his Night Train career, Tyler will compete with DC Breeze and Spice, a competitive mixed team he hopes to help push to nationals. Beyond Frisbee, Tyler is also an avid Brawl Stars player, having over 105,000 trophies, and multiple Master I ranked finishes.
Somehow, all of this is fueled by a steady diet of hot dogs and cereal (seriously, that is all he eats).
