Sam is a dedicated and talented ultimate player whose journey reflects both resilience and excellence. A hardworking honors student, Sam began his college career at Penn State, but the COVID-19 pandemic brought unexpected challenges. When his family relocated to Dallas, Sam made the selfless decision to transfer to the University of Texas at Dallas to support them, without letting it slow his growth on or off the field.
From the moment he joined our team, Sam set the standard for commitment. He never missed a practice, was always on time, and quickly became one of our most reliable and skilled players. Sam’s versatility allowed him to play effectively on both sides of the disc, where he consistently made smart decisions, big plays, and inspired teammates through his work ethic.
Sam’s steady progression and impact were recognized with team-voted honors across three consecutive seasons: Rookie of the Year, Most Improved Player, and eventually Team MVP. He embodies what it means to grow with the sport and uplift those around him. Sam is not only an outstanding competitor but also a teammate of the highest character, and a person whose dedication makes our team and community better.
