Biography
Mark grew up in Austin, Texas as the fourth of six children. He first started playing ultimate frisbee in middle school and never looked back. He would go on and play at McNeil High School and lead the nation in goals scored with Texas United at YCC in 2022. He then took his talents to College Station, Texas. Elected captain in his first year, it was clear to his peers that Mark had a deep commitment for the game and an ability to bring out the best in those around him.
On the field, Mark was known for his relentless cutting, crafty throws, and jaw-dropping blocks. Beyond Dozen, Mark has played professionally with the Austin Sol and club with Austin Doublewide and Texas Duffy. As a three-time captain, Mark has led Dozen to their best regional finishes since 2019 and upset victories over Minnesota and Michigan. Mark will go down as one of the most decorated players in program history, earning 2024 South Central Rookie of the Year honors, two First Team All-Region selections, and an All-UFA selection. We couldn’t be prouder to call Mark a friend, teammate, leader, and our 2026 Callahan nominee.
