Biography
If you look up a picture of untiring effort on Google, a picture of Kyle Reader will show up. A former wide receiver in high school for Fox Valley Lutheran, Kyle joined Marquette Birdhouse with no prior Ultimate experience but his speed, cutting skills and vertical was a combination that immediately got him on the field and he took off from there. Kyle served as an O line cutter for Marquette all four years, and was a key contributor helping the team go from middle of the pack in the North Central Region, to finishing top five three out of his four years. Off the field, Kyle served as team treasurer for two years, and likely saved the team from financial ruin. Kyle will leave Birdhouse being known for having an unrelenting work ethic, great spirit, and a dawg mentality, which is why we are proud to have him as our 2025 Callahan nomination.
