Biography
Jonah Rominski came into GCU with a strong background in ice hockey, which immediately translated to athleticism on the field. What this prior athletic experience also brought was grit and determination to be the best he could be. In his four year stint on GCU, he made leaps and bounds in ability to become one of the most feared matchups in the region. Blazing speed, huge layout D’s on an opponent’s best players, and springs on jump balls turned into a player who commanded the field and could take over against any opponent.
His on the field impact was immense, but he was also the bedrock of GCU off the field. A captain for 3 years, he ran the team at practices and logistically as well. As he graduates and moves into his career, he leaves a massive gap that we can only hope to fill with several others. Goodbye and good luck, Jonah!
