From team: “Jason Chen embodies Iowa Hawkeye Ultimate Club. As a two-year captain, while graduating pre-med a year early and in his first year of med school, Jason just led IHUC to our joint-best regionals finish in 13 years. With stifling handler defense, unreal layouts and every throw in the bag, Chen fills every gap IHUC needs and then some. His leadership has guided the program out of turbulence and into prosperity, and teammates and opponents alike have nothing but glowing remarks for Jason’s spirit. IHUC is honored to nominate Jason Chen for the 2024 Callahan Award.”
