Jared began his competitive career at Independence High School in Nashville, TN, where he played a key role in Flight’s 2019 state championship run. During these years, he quickly earned himself a reputation as a lockdown defender and a fiery competitor. Jared began his college ultimate career in 2020, and became a true do-it-all player for UTC. He developed into a freak athlete capable of making chest-high layout blocks and contested downfield catches over defenders double his size seem easy, all while locking down your team’s best handler. Jared’s playmaking is also apparent on offense, where he is an incredible thrower with both the finesse to easily break marks and the power to launch pinpoint hucks, and also a cutter that’s nearly impossible to contain. Jared’s competitive fire is contagious, which makes him not only a special player but also an amazing leader and teammate to his fellow Swamp Donkeys.
