Biography
From team: “Jacques Nissen came to Brown in fall 2019 as a rising star in the sport. With a YCC Championship and AUDL contract already under his belt, expectations were sky-high. He quickly proved to everyone at Brown how dominant he would be.
Fall 2021 saw Jacques show the world that he is the best thrower in the college division, throwing pinpoint hammer after pinpoint hammer as Brown reached the semi-finals. In the spring of 2022, Jacques was the star and quarterback of Brown’s undefeated regular season and finals appearance. Last season, Jacques reigned supreme across the college division, culminating in his 2nd straight Offensive Player of the Year award. This past summer, Jacques won gold with the USA U24 Team and DC Truck Stop. With his sights set on a college championship, he’s going for the trifecta.
Jacques has captained BMo for the last three years. He has taught and coached youth Ultimate in both Providence and DC.
Straight from the mouth of John Randolph:
“His skills on the field and corresponding accomplishments are obvious but his competitive drive and work ethic through his time at Brown is what made him that player.”
