Biography

Drew fell in love with ultimate from an early age doing instagram trickshots (@trickshots.33) with his best friend Nick Marshall. From there, Drew began playing ultimate in the Philadelphia youth scene for the U-17 PADAwans and U-20 Forge. He helped found the middle school team at The Haverford School and captained the high school team for three years. At Dartmouth, he has been a key player for the Pain Train since he arrived freshman year and was elected captain senior year. From his background as a soccer goalie, Drew learned to bid and honed his reactions. He takes pride in his ability to generate blocks, his unique throwing arsenal, and his speed; Drew is the fastest player on every field he steps on. He plays with emotion and fire, and has a knack for rising to the occasion.
Having the opportunity to represent Dartmouth for the Callahan award is Drew’s biggest ultimate achievement, and he is thankful for everyone in the program who has helped on this journey. He also wants to thank his teammates on Citywide Special, TireBizFriz, Ghostbusters, Vault, Philadelphia Phoenix, and the incredible competitors he has shared a field with along the way.
