Biography

Growing up in Atlanta, Cole was fortunate to be part of a thriving ultimate community from the start, beginning his journey in middle school. In his sophomore year at Grady (now Midtown) High School, he assisted the team in winning a national championship, coached by Jojah alumni Max Leonard and Sheryar Ali. Surrounded by elite competition and inspiring coaches and teammates, he chose to focus fully on ultimate, stepping away from all other sports (except rec basketball, of course).
Cole has served as captain for several teams, including Grady, the U-20 ATLiens YCC team, and most recently Jojah, where he has held a leadership role for the past two seasons. These experiences have shaped him both as a player and a person.
To Cole, ultimate has always been more than just a sport—it’s a way to build community, learn teamwork, and create lasting friendships. He takes pride in being a selfless teammate, always putting the success of the team above individual accolades.
Being nominated for the Callahan Award by his teammates stands as one of his proudest accomplishments. To him, the nomination is a reflection not just of his personal dedication but of the collective effort, growth, and passion shared with his teammates throughout the years. He believes great teammates are what make great players.
