Biography
Christopher Heron is the fearless and peerless captain of WashU Contra. Chris’s career in ultimate began in 2022 during his freshman year of college. Towering at 6 feet 4 inches tall, Chris has a huge frame, but an even bigger heart. These attributes allow him to effectively dunk on and fraternize with his opponents, leading Contra to spirited victory. Passion, devotion, and unrelenting positivity make Christopher an incredible leader, both on and off the field. The only time you’ll see a frown on his face is when his team isn’t having enough fun!
Chris is a dynamic cutter on Contra’s O-line. Don’t let his happy-go-lucky attitude fool you – his endurance, verticality, and imposing presence have made him a key asset to Contra’s offense.
For the past four years, Chris’s contagious optimism has been the heartbeat of Contra. He leads by example, playing hard, lifting others up, and reminding everyone why they fell in love with the sport in the first place. Contra is incredibly proud to nominate Christopher for the 2026 Callahan Award!
