Biography

Growing up in Seattle, Chander began playing competitive ultimate when he was 10 years old. In the Seattle youth scene, he demonstrated promising play and a knack for leadership as a captain for Garfield High School before starting his college career with Ego at the University of Oregon. Chander’s athleticism, relentless competitive spirit, and commitment to his teammates made an instant impact on the Oregon ultimate community. Now, four years later, his off-field leadership and on-field play have helped to bring Ego back to the bracket at nationals. Outside of Ego, he spent time developing with multiple club teams before winning a national championship with Portland Rhino in 2024. Chander’s passion for the sport of ultimate as a student, leader, competitor, and teammate has not only shaped his personal success but will also leave a lasting legacy on the Oregon Ego program and college ultimate as a whole.
