Biography
After playing competitive basketball for over a decade, transitioning to ultimate at UC Berkeley was not part of the plan. However from the moment he stepped on the field, Carter’s presence was immediately felt through his unrivaled athleticism, intelligence, and on-field energy. Since then, Carter has only continued to take the college division by storm with his lock down defense, huge skies, and his development into a top tier break and downfield thrower. Throughout Carter’s time at Cal, he has demonstrated a keen ability to motivate and bring out the best in his teammates as a captain of Ursa Major while – dedicating himself to improving his own game and balancing the intense course load of two STEM degrees. On Ursa Major, we all strive to be a little more like Carter in one way or another, and it’s for that reason that we are proudly nominating him for the 2026 Callahan in the Men’s Division.
