Biography
Bilal Nizamani is Georgetown Justice’s 2026 Callahan Award nominee. Since starting his ultimate frisbee career in his first year of law school at Georgetown three years ago, it was clear that Bilal would throw his entire heart and soul into this sport. From spending every second of his days on campus throwing with friends (and not in class), to studying film through the late hours of the night, Bilal never stops thinking about frisbee. He spent his youth playing sports ranging from basketball to cricket and building himself into the athletic freak you see today. Once he picked up ultimate at Georgetown though, there was no looking back. After just his first year in cleats, he joined the British Columbia Super Dumplings mixed team and won regionals in 2024 and 2025. In Washington DC, he almost tried out for the DC Breeze UFA squad two years in a row. And, of course, he has been an integral member of Justice ever since his arrival. In just one year, Georgetown went from a 15th place finish at AC Regionals to taking 4th in Bilal’s second season. This year, we won our first tournament since 2020, East Coast Invite. All on the back of our glorious spirit captain, who can be found (if not on the field) handing out candy to opponents, playing mario super sluggers, or sleeping somewhere he is not paying rent. For his dedication, pride, and unbridled enthusiasm, we are proud to nominate Bilal for Callahan.
