2024 Callahan Award Winners Announced

Colorado Springs, Colo. (May 26, 2024) – The 2024 Callahan Award ceremonies took place at the 2024 USA Ultimate D-I College Championships, held in Madison, Wisconsin.

In 2024, Aidan Downey from University of Georgia Jojah and Jolie Krebs from SUNY-Binghamton Big Bear were announced as the most valuable players in the college division, an award voted on by players from the college division.

For the University of Georgia, Downey makes history as the first athlete from Jojah to win the award. Downey led Jojah to a national final, 2 spirit championships along with winning a gold and spirit medal with the U-24 U.S. National Team in the mixed division. From Atlanta, Georgia, congratulations to Aidan Downey (Callahan Video).

For SUNY-Binghamton, Krebs also makes history as the first athlete from Big Bear to win the award. A captain for Big Bear, Krebs has helped lead the Metro East program to four straight College Championship appearances (’21-’24). Krebs helped break the Big Bear drought at the tournament with the program’s first appearance coming in 1989.
