Rachel Tigol

Rachel Tigol started her ultimate career at Watchung Hill, a competitive high school in her home state, New Jersey. After high school, she entered as a freshman at Temple University in Philadelphia and quickly became the team’s most reliable role model and leader – on and off the field. She captained her sophomore, junior and senior years, and took on the role of president for her junior and senior years. Although injured most of the 2018-2019 season, she remained a presence on the sideline and continued to positively invest in team culture and development. On the field, she is always a reliable reset, and wows us all with her ability to find space in the craziest of windows. Not to mention, she shreds zones like mozzarella. Nominating her for a Callahan Award does not nearly match all the blood, sweat and tears that she put into this team, but it’s the least we can do.
