Biography
Kate Barry is a beast. After starting her career (2018) she quickly excelled, becoming a captain for Lone Peak High School, in the same year they went on to receive 2nd place at HSNI. She also received such awards as All-State (2019, 2020). Ending her High School career with a bang, she was rostered on the U20 Worlds team (2020).
After coming back from an LDS mission, she kickstarted the Club scene in Utah, being one of the first women to play on both Swell (2022) and Dark Sky (2024).
The beginning of her college career was nothing short of extraordinary after leading her team (BYU) in goals, skying players left and right, and laying out all over the field. She was awarded BYU Rookie of the Year (2022), BYU MVP (2023), and BYU Offensive Player of the Year (2025). She was also rostered on the SBI “All Tournament Team” during her time at BYU.
She is now a seasoned vet playing for SJU, flawlessly transitioning to their O-line where she is again leading in goals, getting amazing run through D’s and incredible assists.
There are not enough words to describe the contribution she makes to any team she plays on. But if I had to choose one it would be, Kate Barry is a beast.
