Biography
Tyler Mackey has been the heart and soul of Rutgers Machine for the last 5 years. He instantly made an impact in his freshman year and never looked back, quickly becoming a key contributor to the O and D line, and thriving in any situation. He’s captained Machine for the last three years, dedicating hours to growing the program.
When he’s on the field, he never takes a play off. If you watch him, he’s either chucking full-field nukes or locking you up in the handler space. It’s also pretty hard to miss his fiery red ginger hair. He’s continued to improve every year, recently playing club with Phantom and Cupcakes, and has been with Empire and Phoenix in the UFA. Mackey’s dedication is unrivaled and has earned respect throughout the frisbee community. For all he has done for the sport and this team, Rutgers Machine could not be prouder or more honored to have Mackey as our Callahan Award nominee.
