Sam Feder started playing ultimate when he was young, training with the Camp Ramah Berkshires Summer Camp ultimate team for its yearly game against a rival summer camp, Ramah Palmer. Sam joined Yale Süperfly as a first year and immediately climbed the ranks, eventually captaining his junior and senior years. Sam made his name as an explosive defender, but has since rounded out his game to become a lethal cutter and veteran thrower. Sam has elevated Süperfly’s game, passing on his knowledge and passion for the sport to all of his teammates. As a result, Yale has risen in the USAU rankings, and enters the post season ranked third in the Metro East, the highest in several years. Sam is Süperfly’s current captain, plays for the New York Empire, and spends his summers playing club with New York Blueprint.
