Biography
Patrick “Patty” Vorathiankul, born and raised in Arlington, Virginia, began playing organized ultimate during his freshman year at Yorktown High School. Growing up as a swimmer since the age of 7, Patrick was hesitant to step into a completely new team sport dynamic. But that willingness to say yes, to try something unfamiliar, and to fully commit to it has come to define who he is as both a player and a teammate.
He quickly became known for his explosive layouts, relentless defensive effort, and reactive cutting that leaves defenders searching for answers. For most of his college career, he embraced the demanding role of a D-line player, where he built his game around grit and discipline to create momentum for his team.
Now playing on the O-line, Patty has continued to prove his versatility, composure, and ability to impact the game. Whether he is grinding on defense, initiating movement downfield, or getting a fat bid make him not only a trusted presence on the field but also a true representation of Hellfish Ultimate.
