Biography
Ian spent one semester with the Clemson Joint Chiefs, where as a freshman, he functioned primarily as a goal scorer on the O-line, helping the team achieve its first Regionals berth in four years.
Ian transferred to App State in the fall of 2022 and played with the Nomads through the spring of 2026.
Ian is known for dominating the downfield space, skying defenders and finding the endzone with ease, along with his ability to launch beautifully placed flick hucks that will always leave his teammates smiling. Beyond his athletic ability, Ian plays the game the right way, competing hard while always showing respect for his teammates and opponents. He has served as an excellent mentor and role model for younger teammates.
In December 2025, just prior to this season, Ian partially tore his meniscus. Despite battling pain, he played in every game this spring, leading the Nomads in goals, assists, and plus/minus, while dialing in his shot selection and minimizing turnovers.
In addition to Ian’s impact on the field, he has been at the forefront of the Nomads’ film department since February 2024, dedicating countless hours to editing and posting footage from around 140 Nomads games.
The Nomads are proud to announce Ian as their Callahan nominee. His impact, both on and off the field, will be deeply missed for years to come.
