Biography
Gabe Schoepke grew up in Algonquin, IL, and started playing Ultimate in seventh grade through a family friend. He played throughout high school with Fox Valley Fusion and continued at Iowa State University, where he graduates in Spring 2026 with a degree in Industrial Technology. He has captained Iowa State, ISUC for the past two years.
He played Illinois YCC U17 in 2019, and U20 in 2021 & 2022. Gabe has played club Ultimate the last three summers, two with Chicago Trident and last season with Chicago Haymaker. He has played professionally the last two years with Chicago Union and is entering his third season this summer. Outside of ultimate, he enjoys hiking, traveling, and skiing.
