Biography
David Ciccarone has been a centerpiece of the program both on and off the field in his four years with UMiami Vice, forming an integral part of a competitive rebuild of the team. As a sophomore captain in the 23/24 school year, he took over the majority of leadership responsibilities when the entire executive board quit, saving the club from collapse. He has also been an invaluable presence on the field as a captain, providing a competitive drive to match his decade of experience in the sport. He is an incredibly consistent and reliable handler, known most for impeccable flick hucks and flashy layouts Ds. On the sideline, he is our loudest voice, motivating the team and coaching younger players. This season, his on-field prowess and emotional leadership helped lead the team to qualify for its first regionals in 12 years – his graduation will leave an immense void on the team, as he is a truly irreplaceable presence.
